Sony is gifting PlayStation 4 Pro and 4K TV owners with cheap PSN games during the company’s huge midyear sale. Tagged with heavy discounts, the PS4 Pro HD titles are available until July 11 at 8 AM Pacific.
What’s more is, players who subscribe to the PS Plus online service will get the titles in a deeper price cut. The news came from a report by CNET, which also revealed the discounted PSN games together with their price point.
For those who want to check which titles are on sale, check them all below. Please note that the bigger amount is the given quote for users who own no PS Plus online service subscription.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (Game of the Year Edition)
With a price tag of $4 or $6, players will experience the original “Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor” in a definitive version. The package includes several missions such as “The Lord of the Hunt” and “The Bright Lord” stories.
Rachet & Clank
“Rachet & Clank,” an action-packed third-person shooter game, is available for $8 or $10. It follows the adventure of Ratchet and Clank in a science fiction setting. The main characters need to travel the universe in hopes of saving the world from evil creatures.
The Last of Us: Left Behind
Sony is offering “The Last of Us: Left Behind” for only $4 or $6. Players who enjoy post- apocalyptic horror games will find a great level of excitement in this title. Following Ellie in her fight against zombies, “The Last of Us: Left Behind” is a thrilling action survival game.
Although the game allegedly received criticisms for its short length, “Resogun” is still a well-received PSN title for its uniqueness. Here, players need to battle enemies in a cylindrical world as they do their best to save trapped victims. It is fortunately included in the Sony midyear sale for $3.74 or $5.24.
“Knack” is available in a slashed off amount at $5 or $7. The video game centers on a character named Knack, a living humanoid organism carrying Relics. He dodges, jumps, and punch using Relics to defeat enemies and advance to the next level.
Super Stardust Ultra
Players should navigate a space fighter craft against asteroids and several other enemy spacecraft in “Super Stardust Ultra.” PlayStation enthusiasts can take advantage of this title for only $5.19 or $6.49.
One of the most popular video games, “Fallout 4” is the most expensive title on sale in Sony’s midyear event. For $20 or $22.49, players can enjoy the role of a “Sole Survivor” in an open world post-apocalyptic setting.
It is important to note, however, that the above-mentioned list only includes the PS4 Pro HD titles. Sony’s big midyear sale also offers more games for PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PSP platforms.
As per the official PlayStation blog, fan-favorite titles are up for grabs from 50 to 75 percent off. See some games included per each Sony video game console below.
PS Plus members will surely find delight that the well-celebrated “Rayman Legends” comes at $13.99 for PS4. For non-members, the price is still not bad at $17.99, comparing to the original tag of $39.99.
For PS4 owners who are into sport-related video games, “Madden NFL 17” luckily made it on the list. From the original price point of $39.99, members can get it at $9.99 and $13.19 for non-members.
Apparently, Sony ensured that the midyear games sale will also incorporate the most affordable deals. PS3 owners are in luck as “King Oddball,” one of the cheapest in the list, is only $0.99. For non-members, it is priced at $1.49 from the regular price of $4.99.
Another very budget-friendly find is the “Mamorokun Curse!” that originally sells at $4.99 similar to “King Oddball.” But since the company is holding a great sale event, players can take it for $1.49 or $1.99.
Now is the time for PS Vita owners to bring home some premium titles for the console. From $39.99, “Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited” is now available for PS Plus members at $15.99. Those with no subscription can still get a good deal at $19.99.
There’s also “Code: Realize – Guardian of Rebirth,” which sells at a price tag the same as “Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited.” However, the sale quote is a little cheaper at $11.99 and $19.99 for non-members.
Players who are still inclined with their PSP can get good deals as well. For one, the puzzle video game “Chameleon” is now only $1.59 for those without a subscription. The price for PS Plus members is $1.19.
As if those deals are not enough yet, Sony also wants PlayStation enthusiasts to get hold of the most watched videos in cheaper prices.
In addition, even movies that come in HD quality are on sale too. Check out some of Technopow’s top picks below.
Underworld: Blood Wars
“Underworld: Blood Wars,” which is available on SD and HD is originally priced at $14.99. The movie is now selling at $9.99 until the sale ends.
Independence Day Resurgence
With an original price point of $11.99 in SD and HD, PlayStation users can now get “Independence Day Resurgence” at $6.99. Rewatch the 2016 sci-fi film with this great deal!
Another 2016 movie included in the current midyear sale, “Inferno” is now priced at $9.99. It is tagged with an original price point of $14.99.
These are just three movies from the midyear event. More titles such as “Chinatown,” “Evil Dead,” and “Fury” are also included. Please visit the official PlayStation blog for the full list.
It is also worth noting that Sony has included a disclaimer at the bottom of its blog. The note says: “All pricing is for U.S. only and subject to change.” Meaning, the given prices in this post may change without notice.
